Going Green

We are going paperless! Beleza Plastic Surgery Pittsburgh is stepping into the future by switching from paper files to electronic medical records (EMR). This new environmentally friendly system runs completely on computers. Now, when you come in to see us, you can fill out all of your paperwork on-line, instead of taking time out of your visit with us.
This past Wednesday, May 12, Pittsburgh Plastic Surgeon - Dr. Wooten saw her first patient using this paperless program. Anxiety prevailed in the office, until doctor and patient emerged from the exam room, and we saw... success! The first paperless patient has been a success. This transition will be a gradual one, as we continue to transfer each patient’s file into our computer system, but we are proud to have taken the crucial first step.
With this program, instead of using limited natural resources to create files for patients, we can now have computers in the rooms with the patients, a more efficient way for Dr. Wooten to examine patient history and for her staff to prepare for patient arrival.
