Except for a brief decline during the recession, these numbers have been rising for years. This trend seems likely to accelerate as baby boomers pass the age of 65. It seems to be more the physiologic not the chronological age that is important to these patients. Many of them are still in the work force and want to compete with their younger counterparts, many are back in the dating scene and want to look their best, and others just want to look as good as they feel.
